Located within the private Fort Neck Association in the quaint seaside town of Charlestown this ranch style home will offer you a quiet vacation getaway with quick access to everything beautiful South County Rhode Island has to offer. Take a short walk down the dead end road to a private association to access kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Walk or bike one block over to see the breathtaking view at historic Ft. Ninigret Park.
This house features a total of three bedrooms, all have ceiling fans. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a half bath, toilet and sink only. Bedroom two has a queen sized bed and a bunk bed set with a pull out trundle, bedroom three has a double bed. Please note no bedding linens are provided, you must provide your own sheets and pillow cases., bath and beach towels will be provided. All three rooms are close together and share a full bath in the hallway adjacent to each of the three rooms. If you prefer to shower outside take a relaxing, private outdoor shower just off the back deck.
The house is equipped with a mini-split AC to cool the family room and kitchen.
Enter the rental home through the mud room entrance way with front facing sitting porch, perfect for sipping your coffee in the early morning sunshine. This mud room entrance also leads out back to a private deck great for chilling and grilling. Especially enjoyable after a sunny day on one of the many spectacular Rhode Island beaches including Charlestown Beach, Blue Shutters Beach, Matunuck Beach , Narragansett Beach, Misquamicutt and endless others if you dare to explore.
In addition to top notch beaches this property location offers you endless other options to spend your leisure time. Take the ferry to Block Island, ride a bike to Ninigret Park for Frisbee golf, tennis, basketball, walking/bike path or pickle ball. Spend the afternoon with short drives to Mystic Seaport or a stroll through Newport. Two world famous casinos are located within a half hour drive. Property owner has lived in the area and has operated a small business for 36 years and can help set up your dream vacation with local knowledge and many connections to other businesses and restaurants.
Want to try some boating, rent a pontoon boat at Ocean House Marina (1/2 mile away) for the day. ( Have your family and guests take a short walk down the street where you can pick them up at a private association dock. From the pick up point take your family and guests out with your fully stocked cooler, fishing poles and clam rake to explore Ninigret Pond, or float over to the serenity of East Beach that is only accessed by boat or four wheel drive with miles of secluded beaches and a view of Block Island Sound.
House features washer, dryer, outdoor shower, comfy beds and mini split AC. Grill your catch on the back deck while you sip a margarita enjoying the serenity of the private back yard.
All bedrooms have ceiling fans, kitchen and family room are chilled by air conditioning. House has plenty of windows to let light in as well as the salt air and fresh ocean breeze. At night gaze at the beautiful stars and listen for the waves crashing on the beach from the back deck.
